Shark Stratos Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner IZ400UK

One UK retailer (Stellisons Electrical) listed it at £419.99 for the Rose Gold colourway at the time this data was collected, shown as pre-order with availability from 28 August 2026. Prices and stock can change, so it's worth checking current listings before buying, and other colourways such as Charcoal may be available elsewhere now. At that price you get a 5.11kg vacuum with a 0.7-litre dustbin, up to 60 minutes of runtime, washable HEPA filtration and a 5-year parts-and-labour guarantee once registered. Given the pre-order status seen on this listing, confirming current stock is especially important before committing to the £419.99 figure quoted here.

No, the verified spec data confirms this model does not have a self-emptying dock, so the 0.7-litre dustbin is emptied by hand after cleaning. That keeps the design simpler than Shark's Matrix or auto-empty models, which is reflected in this vacuum's £419.99 price sitting below dock-equipped alternatives. Without a dock, you're also without app control, since neither feature is present on the IZ400UK's manual, dial-and-trigger operation. At 5.11kg and with up to 60 minutes of runtime, this is a straightforward cordless stick vacuum built around HEPA filtration and pet-hair tools rather than automation, so anyone specifically wanting hands-free emptying should look at a different Shark model.

Yes, it has a HEPA filter that is washable, which matters for allergy sufferers since it can be cleaned and reused rather than replaced with a new unit each time. This sits alongside Clean Sense IQ, which automatically senses dirt levels and adjusts suction, and Anti-Odour Technology for managing smells trapped during cleaning. No manufacturer-published suction wattage was found for this model; the only suction figure available is 24kPa, independently measured by a reviewer in boost mode rather than an official Shark specification. Combined with the washable HEPA filter, the IZ400UK is positioned for pet owners and allergy-conscious households at its £419.99 price point, backed by a 5-year guarantee on the vacuum itself.

Shark offers a 5-year guarantee on parts and labour after product registration, plus a separate 2-year warranty on the battery. Cover applies to the UK and Republic of Ireland only. Registering promptly is worth doing given the vacuum's £419.99 price tag, since the 5-year term only applies once registration is completed rather than automatically from purchase. The shorter, separate 2-year battery cover reflects that the removable Li-ion battery will lose capacity with repeated charging over time, unlike the mechanical parts and the DuoClean brush-rolls covered for the full 5 years. This two-tier warranty structure matches what Shark applies across much of its Stratos and standard cordless ranges.

It weighs 5.11kg, which places it in the heavier band for cordless stick vacuums. That's worth weighing against the up-to-60-minute runtime, since carrying 5.11kg for a full session, or overhead for curtains and ceilings, will feel more tiring than on lighter Shark models. At 86dB it's also in the louder band for this vacuum type, so between the weight and the noise level, this isn't the model to reach for if quiet, effortless handling is your priority. The bendable Flexology wand does help offset some of that bulk by letting the vacuum lie flat under furniture, and the removable Li-ion battery keeps the handheld mode usable for shorter above-floor cleaning tasks despite the overall 5.11kg weight.
